Anyone else think the deep blacks look good in the original pics and vids but look like they have added backlight bleed as an upgrade in the updated ones? Lots of washout but more detail. I can't remember much of the first one. Must be part of the Beer for brain cells plan I was on but holy crap 2 and 3 are so burned into my head I would probably forget how to breath before forgetting those two.

Personally I love the ME3 multi-player. Its really cool getting to play as geth, or a phantom, or collectors even. Its bare bones, sure. It is extremely grindy if you actually wanna unlock everything though so I get why people don't like it. Would have liked to see it upgraded

If you are on PC save your money and download A Lot of Texture( ALOT) from the Nexus(Its free) and it does the exact same thing and even has a 4k option with lighting and cinematics.

How they should have done TLE: Convert everything to the ME 3 or Andromeda engine. Streamline gameplay Include omni- gel resistant locks in late game ME1 with a line about new security upgrades Include armors, weapons and gear from ME1 to ME2 and ME3, Rosenkov materials, Kassa fabrication etc. Include a few experimentell thermal clip weapons in ME1 ( 20% more damage but requires expensive new termal clips) Can still fire without clips, but with slow rate of fire. Include a few crappy heatsink weapons in ME2 and ME3. 20% less damage and additionally 20% less effective against armored opponents. Thermal clip weapons can still fire without a thermal clips, but again, slow rate of fire. Include multiplayer maps as N7 type missions in ME 3 for Shep and squad.

Galactic readiness was adjusted when the Extended Cut DLC released. It was reduced from around 5000 to 3100 so you could get the best ending without needing to play multiplayer.

Okay, so...I have a confession to make. The only Mass Effect game I’ve EVER played was... *winces* Mass Effect: Andromeda. I know, I know, I’m a bloody heretic! But the reason was...yeah, my sister would probably go out of her way to make the entire thing SUPER awkward. But also, the graphics and mechanics were...not really my thing? I don’t really know how the explain it. Probably the inconsistency between the games, I don’t know. But with this one fixing those issues...yeah, I’ll give it a shot, see where it goes, and hopefully not have my sister or mom snoop around if I’m in a more...choice cutscene.

They could add a coop multiplayer, where the host player plays as Shepard and 2 guest players play as the other team members, like Garrus, Liara etc. and the guests can participate in the dialogues with NPCs, influencing the story of the host player. They could also allow the players to take direct control of the other team members, just like in Knights of the old Republic.

As someone who has never played Mass Effect before, this is going to be fun as hell on a high end pc.

I understand their reasoning for discluding the multiplayer but I'm really disappointed that they aren't even attempting to release it at a later time. I remember being so turned off by the idea of a ME multiplayer. I was like, WTF, this is Mass Effect not CoD. Then I played it near the end of the game to get my readiness up and I was hooked. I dropped the campaign for a solid week just playing MP. Then they kept it fresh with free updates and DLCs. I had so much fun with MP for several years. I still boot up my xbox to play it every once in a while.

If they're not going to change the ending of ME3, I'm not gonna bother with this. The extended cut is still unacceptable. If they used the Happy ending mod, I'd gladly grab this.

So basically everything that's been available from PC mods for years. The only bonus is you don't have to install all of the mods to get it to look this good. The downside, is you end up paying $60 for what you could get for free already. They didn't change the gameplay enough to matter with the original, since all they did was tweak the way the guns "feel". It's still going to be the behind the scenes dice rolls, and the combat was not changed to be closer to the second or third games...which is something it really could have benefited from.
