Yeah there was this weird thing that happened here too where someone was expecting a limited edition and it shipped but then it was late, then too late. Person called the post office like hey, my package is really late, it’s a limited edition that’s sold out, they said that they were going to look into it. Oh it just so happened to have been put to the side in a warehouse of their and it’s getting delivered tomorrow. Uh huh, sure, a big package from a company known to sell electronics just “happens” to be misplaced. More likely they were hoping that nobody would ask for it but rather to have a replacement sent (since it doesn’t say what it is on the box) but since the limited edition game was sold out there was no option to ask for a replacement to be sent and the post office had to look into it. Still it’s pretty weird that they expect the company to replace things lost in transit, or maybe they have some sort of a deal with them like insurance and the post office pays, idk 🤷‍♀️ still, they got their package, unopened, and a story to tell, so it’s a happy ending I guess

I'm pretty sure the cosmetic advantage has already been a thing. For example, there are some league of legend skins that have advantages just by changing the way the models look and colors. People underestimate the advantages that can be attained with simple cosmetic changes. Just something as changing a single color can give someone an edge in a video game. This is why people that are color blind have been used as scouts. Something that is perfectly camouflaged from an average person stands out like a sore thumb to them. So, taking that into count what's to stop that from happening in the future in video games? Granted, I know this is in reference to an FPS game making a pretty much all black skin. The only logical thing I can think of to prevent cosmetic advantages is to just ban cosmetics entirely in competitive/tournament play.

It's all transcranial (ie electrodes on your head) so far except in the cases of people with traumatic brain injuries or other neurological conditions which require implants. Maybe you should research the technology before turning a very promising technology into The Matrix. That's not what it is. It could eventually become that, I suppose. Um, "brain interfaces" are used a lot in modern medicine, including cutting edge prosthetic technology. While brain hijacking technology might be a possibility down the line, it's a bit of a stretch to think that we'd be in the kind of danger falcon here is concerned about. It's like not buying a smart car out of fear it will kidnap you or something. It's not impossible, but it's not likely enough to really think it will happen.
