@Mikey Parenteau Why would you want to have a splitscreen in a single-player campaign? What's the use of it? I want a cinematic experience on action-adventure games unless it's a co-op game.

umm what is everyone talking about? I been sleeping on this game, just now getting into it and whew is it tense. During some segments you are in danger. Its pretty tense and thrilling. I don't wanna spoil it, but something just happened that caught me off guard and did kind of blow me away. I don't need a difficult experience for the game to be enjoyable. I could see some of the magic tricks wearing off as I continue to play it but this game so far is a horror classic. IMO.

Just get gamepads, not only do you get this absolutely incredible game but hundreds if other great games

It looked good in places but the uncanny valley from the main character spoils it.

I really like the medium and for me it lived up to what I wanted but with the ending i can understand why other might be upset or confused

This game started out so strong, I thought it would be my new favorite horror game. Unfortunately I didn’t really like where the story went after around the halfway point. Still a very enjoyable horror game, but not enough to top my current favorite horror game Resident Evil. It’s good to know that Xbox is still going strong with their exclusives: Halo, Gears of War, Forza and now the Medium.

I really enjoyed this game. I liked the whole concept of being able to play the spirit and real world simultaneously and having what you do in one affect the other. The story was well done and I like that they included some Polish history and some pretty dark themes and issues. I would give this game at least a 7/10 and I hope they make a sequel.

I really want to play this game but it's only playable on series X/S and PC. I have an Xbox One S and I have read websites say it's going to be on xbox one but maybe their confusing the series X/S with Xbox one. Its annoying.

The problem with horror games with no combat is that the story need to be better then some of the best horror game stories like Silent Hill or be as scary as games like Silent Hill PT to really be relevant.

Noop, it wasnt scary enough and sadly all to slow who made me end the game after some hours. If the feeling aint there it aint worth the time.

The gamma in this game is all sorts of messed up. I never touch these options normally but I had to crank it up to eleven in this game. I don't believe the intended experience is so dark, even considering it is a horror game. I totally forgot about akira yamaoka. The soundtrack is very incidental and the game could probably go without any music.

The puzzles in this game are shockingly bad and annoying. It's walk around until you find an interactable anything and push button. That's it. No intelligence needed just trial and error. It's pretty damn boring and I love horror games like Observer and Layers of Fear. Its a bummer. They really missed the mark on this. The gameplay is just bad.

I almost waste the money on this title based on supporting the game involved Akira Yamaoka alone

I finished it in about 7 hours and after taking a bit to absorb everything. I disagree with the idea that its a middle of the road game. As the mission was set and the story slowly started to open up around you. You started to see what exactly happened, where it started, and with an opening like that I could not argue that this game was in a place that I have no been able to find in a horror title in some time. At the same time the creepy aspects of the game. The Other realm although I did make a number of yu yu hakusho jokes. This game defiantly fell in the area of a 8.5/10 game for me because it did everything well enough and decided to try and innovate in a way in a game that I have never personally seen before while using tried and true concepts help in one place. Is it silent hill? No. Is it something I have needed for a time with many disappointing game releases in this genre yes.

I throughly enjoyed this game. The sound design was excellent, I enjoyed the story and solving the mystery as it unfolded. The camera angles didn't bother me, but, I can see where they may be a deal breaker for others.

This is the first channel that I watch that made a negative review... guess not everyone can like the same things ;)

What I have to give this game that a lot of horror games have a bad habit of is that the story doesn't go off in different directions. Without giving away anything, I am maybe about a quarter to maybe halfway through the game and I liked that you get some of the story answered and at the same time brings up even more questions without it feeling forced or out of place if that makes sense. I think what makes Bloober so good at making horror games is just their ability to tell a good story while adding in the horror elements.

I don't understand why western developers seem incapable of understanding that horror works better if the protag will shut the fuck up for five seconds instead of narrating every single thing that's happening on screen

Went to download the game today, was disappointed to find out it’s unable to be run on an Xbox one x, but judging from how poorly cyberpunk runs on Xbox one x, maybe most new releases should not come out on last gen...

I bought it, it's 2/10.

The camera sucks. The controls are janky. The pop ins are bad. The frame drops are irritating. The puzzles were easy. There's so much walking, there's an achievement for walking. I never felt threatened by the monsters because it's so linear. This game is fine for free on gamepass, but no more than 20 or 30 bucks at max.

I think you nailed it when you said, "some people will think of it as a sin, when the game is just 'fine'" which is a shame 👎🏻 And wow no combat 👎🏻 👎🏻 🌝
