This game is hilariously bad. I bought it and was very excited through the beginning cinematic but as soon as the npc's started talking it was done. I literally laugh out loud. I felt like I was back in time in the worse way. Do not buy this game waste of money wait for it to go free on the PlayStation store would be my recommendation.

I only know of this game because it’s from the same publishers of the upcoming Test Drive Unlimited SC Playing as a feral animal is a cool concept i wish more games tried it out. So far it’s just Zelda Twilight Princess, GTA Online, and Peace Island

This looks like a Remastered Playstation 2 game. After games like The first Last Of Us or Ghost Of Tsushima...this game doesn't even cut it close.

Finished this game in about 8-10 hours of gameplay. 5/10 It's a good brainless game. Arcade-style hack & slash. 1. Go to area. 2. Go berserk on mobs 3. Go to next area 4. Repeat. That's literally what the game is. It doesn't matter what choices you make. Dialogue and story is bland. A good time killer I guess.

From what it sounds like, it seems like they focused 50% of the game on the wrong thing. I mean think about it, stealth and infiltration seems a lot more like a Vampire thing, no? If you're a Werewolf, why on sweet baby jesus's green earth would you want to do stealth? You're a beast born from people's nightmares for crying out loud! You should be going crazy ripping people to shreds and devouring them. Not sneaking around. If they focused MORE on that and just removed the stealth aspect, I imagine this game would've been awesone.

It's a beat em up button masher. Honestly I was hoping for a game like prototype except with a rampaging werewolf but this is good for what it is. Werewolves are cool so I'm happy, got it for 15 bucks too

I 'm more into werewolves myself. I never really played the World of Darkness table top game, mostly I saw the trailer and thought, "Whoa, this looks cool." I'm more curious than anything, even if the animation brings me back to Xbox 360 days.

a ps2 game with ps4 pro graphics, inspired from a tabletop game ( *COUGH cyberpunk2077 COUGH* ), plays like sunset overdrive and gameplay straight outta saints row 3 (or maybe prototype same diff) Yup video games are just getting better

I just want to see werewolves baclk to fantasy fans heart. They've so much potential and I'm so tired of vampires and zombies....But unfortunately, this game won't help it and with the next Resident Evil Village and its big tities vampire-ish lady, I guess we gonna have them in popular medias for a long time.....again.

As a lore hound for WtA, this game was lacking. Like a ton of simplifications to draw in new people and then randomly name dropping other parts of the lore az if to signal to existing fans it's for them

This game is cool but...who remembers a game on ps2 caled altered beast ??? It's very similar but altered beast is better bcs every boss you fight you take his power of transform and you can shape shift to 9 characters including a ware wolf...i miss that old game 🖐🏻

I have unfortunately bought this game, just because I've seen some gameplay few months ago and it's utter crap. Don't waste your money on it. It's boring, repetitive, NPCs are like made in early 2000's, story is some utter bullshit and not even told in interesting way. The only good thing I can say about this game is I like the stealth in it, when you're running with the wolf it's quite cool, graphics are mainly solid too on Xbox Series S, but other than that I probably wouldn't want that game for free. Wast of time and money.

After playing this game for a few Days I can say I am enjoying this Game. It has a good balance of If you want to be Stealthy Knock yourself out, OR if you want to rip, and Run you can Do that as well. There is no penalty for doing either, it's all in what you want to do. In short Its good to have a Game that isn't too deep, Where you can just shut down and just have fun

I played it for the story as a fan for the world of darkness

I like the more magic oriented vampire characters.

Looks like they managed to do get the Crinos form and combat down very well and did ok with the lore. The rest looks like they have advanced a bit over sandbox stage. It probably could have used another 1-1.5 years to bring up the rest to the combat level, but it looks like a good foundation to build on. I hope it will successful enough to be a second one and maybe a remaster a few years in the future.

I still want to try it but I’ll wait for it to go free on PS+ or be added to Gamepass or if it’s under $20

Definitely looks like if it dropped on ps3 with the likes of infamous, force unleashed, and prototype, it would've been a great, unfortunately that play style no longer pleases(I love it personally)

Sad that all the budget went to the vampire games and not the werewolf ones... The universe has some REALLy deep lore even before integrating it into the World of Darkness setting... and all they made out of it is prototype Lite. Not the worst idea, but kind of a shame when you can tell such great stories with it all, especially as in-setting megacorps are probably one of the lesser problems werewolves face. Wish them werewolves would get a high budget game worthy of the setting.

The best Werewolf game I've found is Skyrim, especially with Dawnguard DLC which gives werewolves more skills and actions, like eating animals and monsters to lengthen time instead of only people. After one Rampage, I had to wait 3 ingame days to turn back to human. Plus there is a ring that let's you change whenever you want so you could have a save slot that is purely a werewolf save, and never see your human form. But I will definitely give this game a try. I've been keeping an eye on it ever since I heard of it. Though I can tell it will be mostly story driven, I hope the rampaging is atleast half as satisfying. Can anyone think of any other cool Werewolf games?

This seems like a PS plus game

This game is a bit shallow, yet fun and satisfying. Compared to "Vampire the Mascarade : bloodlines", the "story" of earth blood is sorely lacking, even though it does incorporate elements of the werewolf lore with some degree of accuracy. But this adaptation of an RPG game has completely missed the mark on the "RPG" component. The character progression track felt nothing like the classic World of Darkness core template. And the unlockable ability tree didn't incorporate the spritual GIFTS mechanics from werewolf. That being said, the homid/lupus/crinos meta, along with the stealth/carnage combo mechanic of the game does work rather well, even if it does feel linear, repetitive (and thus eventually get boring). The violence, the gore, the hack and slash is fun and really satisfying! The sheer bestiality of the WEREWOLF is given proper justice in this game, even if fights are indeed a bit "cluncky" at times. But ultimatly, after a couple of replays, one does loose interest in this title. Vampire the Mascarade Bloodlines, for all its countless bugs and technical issues, did offer a rich immersive experience, and several fun options of replayability with the variety of clans and play styles available at character creation. VTM Bloodlines perfectly hit the mark on the RPG aspect where WTA earthblood didn't. A shame werewolf the apocalypse was designed around a single non changeable/non customizable character, and with such a small cast of "interesting" protagonists/antagonists. Actualy no, none of these characters are interesting per se. They were all bland, cliché and shallow. And the storyline was unsurprising to say the least.

A "helmet sticker" for being the most positive possible even though you disliked the game quite a bit. Its obvious you go way out of your way to not discourage others from trying the game if they feel so inclined. Its just a nice attitude. I just wanted to say "Thanks".

also bloodlines is tip of the tip of the iceberg on world of darkness. There's mage the ascension, vampire the masquerade, werewolf apocalypse, changeling the dreaming, demon the fallen and way more, all existing concurrently and intersecting each others stories and campaigns

They took an RPG, a pen and paper rpg, a game where you create your character minutely to the point of diferentiating their skills in athletics, medicine, driving and such, a game where you can virtually do anything you can imagine, and turned it into a linear experience with a pre defined protagonist...
