I just finished Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir yesterday evening. I thought it was a great game. Today, I just started replaying Bioshock 2.

Well there goes my career as a 3-D modeling artist..... and no I don’t get weirded out, I think they look really beautiful. So I’m definitely not eating pigs anymore, I already knew they were intelligent but this was the last straw. I try not to eat animals that have near human level intelligence. Elephants and whales are on a whole other level of smarts & consciousness than pigs, but still you wouldn’t be eating one of those. I’m good.

I still have yet to see an actual game that has a character creator that matched what All Points Bulletin had. Sad the company went under and the game got butchered into F2P cash grab garbage.

Metahuman creator is really impressive. I'd say it hits the uncanny valley with the teeth that's just slightly off and the unnatural smiles. But when they talk in a serious tone with not much smiles and teeth showing, it's not far off. Put it in an environment and some motion blur and movement and I think it could pass as real

The Unreal MetaHuman Creator isn't out yet. So we haven't been able to make any characters. The Demo lets you pull of the video you watched in Unreal 4 engine and play around with the 2 characters that are in it.

These are the first characters I think I've seen where there is no uncanny valley feeling for me at all. During the bits inside the creator the feeling is there, but those finished models emoting and talking look absolutely real to me.
