Honestly, after playing the game myself, it's a pretty average game. Everyone is acting like this game is the next messiah of the gaming world. But it's just an average survival game in my opinion.

This game is dangerously good, they have managed to creat a perfectly satifiying loop between hunting/foraging, building, PvE, and exploring in a often beautiful world that feels full of mystery, wonder and danger. It provides an amazing Co-op experience and in my opinion quite simply perfects many of the strong elements of the best games in the genre in recent memory; Minecraft, Rust, Ark, etc. This game has a stellar basis as an early acess game. The only criticism I have is that in single player the grind does exist and the difficulty is spiked, but I think this also means co-op feels all the more meaningfull, co-op is how to the game feels it was designed to be played. It will be interesting to see how PvP develops moving forward.

I have about 75 hours in solo and 15 hours with a friend. Love this game so far. Love the idea of more zones and building options. So far my personal opinion, it was well worth the 20 buck.

I think it's great that the developers chose to focus on gameplay and creating a cohesive game instead of dumping all the budget on textures and meshes.

It's kind of fun that pretty much all indie swedish titles that are succesfull are coming from a small swedish town called Skövde. Really says something about the university there.

Playing this game with a couple of my friends. I never really got into survival games as I play cs go, valorant, and squads usually. Honestly the most fun I’ve had at my pc in a long time.

I thought I got scammed at first when I saw that the game was only 1GB.

I've been playing solo for about a week on and off. I'm loving it, I find the grinds enjoyable and not too tedious. I was about to go fight the 2nd boss but then I discovered a new type of wood, fine wood and all the new recipes that came with it and completely forgot about the boss and starting making portals and exploring, found the merchant. I'm sure it would be better with friends but no complaints from playing solo.

This game is special because its made by 5 people / gamers who make a game not for money, because they love games. That is how amazing this game is. Game of the Year, its up there.

I do not understand the people saying the graphics look atrocious and like they're from the early 2000s. This game is one of the best looking games I've played in the past couple years.

The worse decision I made was paying for New World over this game. Why? It was my last hand out to Amazon to see if they could make a great game. Native American vs Early settlers!! Oh, they had to change that. *ask for refund* *Amazon changes game and contract so they don’t have to refund games that are still in alpha (was not in early contracts)*
